Rwentanga Farm Institute quarantine Centre is now fully operational with so far three Covid -19 suspects. The first suspect is a young woman who arrived from Mpondwe boarder in Kasese, and the other one is a woman from Koranorya in Mbarara who is said to have been in contact with a truck driver. She has been quarantined with her baby.
Previously all Covid -19 suspects were being quarantined at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital, which is in the process of completing construction of an Isolation Unit for Covid -19 cases.
Last week the Ministry of Health delivered 50 mattresses and 50 pairs of bedsheets to be used in the quarantine center.
The center is well prepared to handle more suspect cases.
