Mbarara District embarked on the project for Construction of District Adminisration Block at Bwizibwera Ssaza Headquarters. The District Contracted National Housing and Constuction Company Limited to construct the Administration Block at about 15 billion Uganda Shillings. The project will be implemented in a phased manner due to funding limitations. The first Phase covered the Slab for the entire building at a cost of 2,019,286,210=. The project phase commenced on 7th March 2025 and was completed on 21st November 2025 in a period of 5 Months only. 

The handover of the first phase was witnessed by the Chairman Board -NHCC Hon. Sylvester Wanjuzi Wasieba, NHCC CEO- Eng. Kenneth Kaijuka, PPDA Board Chairman Mr. Julius K. Ishungisa, PPDA Executive Director, Benson Turamye, Chief Administrative Officer- Mr. Muhwezi David, the District Executive Committee, District Technical Staff and other Stakeholders.
